After receiving a “tremendous amount of feedback,” Blizzard changed the way Overwatch does ties in its competitive mode. Now, one team just has to gain more progress than their enemy, with a minimum of 33% progress. That means there will be more ties.

I realize this is going to be met with a lot of animosity, but I really don't understand the big deal about 7/10. I mean, yeah, I like it, but I just don't see it as the cultural phenomenon that everyone is hyping it up to be. Nothing about 7/10 is particular original, and what few things it does do well 8/10 already…
