I had, until now, missed that The Deakins was lensing this. Makes sense given Villeneuve’s involvement. I am now a lock to see it. Watching a Deakins’ film is an illuminating experience. The shots in Sicario were just ... magnificently framed.

Still, like a lot of Star Wars films, minor flaws kind of melt away, especially when you get to the third act, and Rogue One is no exception.
