Its the MMO thing all over again. Everyone was trying to get inon that sub money WoW had - and no one could really do it. Everyone one of them spent a ton of money and fizzled. It took how many years and a massive reboot before FFXIV came along?? That is a lot of studio time and money dumped in the trash heap.

People keep including the “they can lower prices at times of lower demand” part but like they can do that by itself. I’ve seen a few places (most notably Sonic) have cheaper “happy hour” prices in the afternoon, usually 2pm until 4 or 5pm. And the great thing about this is that they advertise it, so you can actually

Hm. Where should we go for lunch?
I know! Let’s go to the place that specifically raises their prices at lunch time!

My vote would go to a new Darkstalker/Vampire Savior. I think with SF6 having cemented its place as the defacto 2D fighting game of the current gen (you may or may not feel this way), there’s room for something that steers into anime fighters a bit harder, especially since it feels like MVC is probably in remission.

I mean, that success WILL matter, but remember that this game has been in development for a long time, so we will see more devs/publishers put out SP games in the next 2-4 years that are a response to things like BG3, then one will tank, and some MP title will be huge and you’ll see games responding to that, etc., etc.

I understand the hefty work required to craft “Interesting Event In The Middle Of Open World Traversal” but the problem is all of them all feel so forced and random. The Ubisoft/Ghost of Tsushima style game design where they come up with maybe eight or nine types of activities and then shotgun blast the icons across

If anything, being thrown “A Wild Random Event Appeared!” every 10 meters walked in tall grass will make me want to Fast Travel even more. An annoying open world is so much worse than a boring one.

For some reason, this does actually need to be said. The Palworld channel of the Pocketpair discord is FULL of people trying to convince others that this game isn’t real, that the trailers are all faked, and that the whole thing is a giant scam. Even with content creators now publicly streaming the game, there is

Dunno what to think of it except two things that I hate about it already. Firing an RPG at a rex and it doesn’t leave a mark at all. Like not even scorching the skin... And then he breaks a horn on the trike, by hand and rams it into the skull... The power levels seems to be fluctuating by a wide margin...

This is being made by the same people who did Quantum Error. You know, the terrible first person shooter that tried to stoke console wars in order to drive up publicity by sayying their 2008-ass graphics could not run without the ps5's magic SSD? The game that came out 3 month ago and not only has been totally

This looks like someone made a game out of that unused Jurassic Park 4 concept art with human/dino hybrids with guns for arms.

Okay Sean, don’t over promise. Just say we’ve been working on something and show some clips!

The problem is infotainment is often mixed in with basic controls these days, and that can make simple things a pain in the butt.

All the Alfa Romeo owners may have simply been stuck on the side of the road and unable to respond to the survey.

You’ll have to forgive them, the AI isn’t good at recognizing faces in a photograph.

You think a bunch of no money indie games are committing fraud to sponsor their games that will probably make a couple dozen thousand dollars each? Are you truly, TRULY that fucking clueless about how literally anything works?

There is phenomenal stand-up bit by the late John Pinette about this, but told through the lens of the extended warranty on a TV from Best Buy:

They should just put the AI in charge at this point.

Presumably the next several N7 day trailers will involve the masked figure riding an elevator.
