Eh, I’ve played The Reconstruction. Half the characters look like they were drawn left-handed. Fell Seal is gorgeous compared to that.

I think Fell Seal was a pretty good take on this genre. Fae Tactics was good too, but its radical minimalism might not be for all tastes. (Everything you do in combat is left-click or right-click with no menus.)
I kept confusing “attack roll” with “damage roll” no matter how many times I learned the difference. (Attack roll is supposed to be for accuracy. Just call it a to-hit roll!)
I wouldn’t say I liked the Pathfinder games, but they definitely fit the niche he’s saying isn’t filled.
I don’t know Activision’s policy on things like video reviews. Have they allowed fair use, or is this a “for me but not for thee” situation?
One thing I disliked about the first game is that the main character is so laser-focused on saving Earth that they feel unengaged in the the worlds you spend most of the game exploring. There are interesting conflicts happening that are just as important to those worlds as what the MC is doing, but the MC only…
If there’s one thing I’ve learned from trans people, it’s that drawing a distinction between mandatory and optional body modification is easier said than done.
A job is something you’re paid to do. If you’re not getting paid, you don’t have a job, you have a con artist bilking you.
Thinking back on it, Indy/Sophia was probably my first ship. I kinda felt like they deserved each other.
This isn’t the focus of the article, but how does someone stream for nine days? Is he allowed to sleep?
A lot of innocent people plead guilty for a lesser sentence. There’s no proof he was the one who left Pokémon cards, as opposed to anyone else who has Pokémon cards in their house.
This sounds suspiciously like “tell us you were the one who planted the bombs, or we’ll have you found guilty anyway.”
Well, I for one would rather play this than pick up a Bethesda game on launch day.
So the folks who don’t support Putin are unordinary Russians. Like that Russian filmmaker who was anti-Putin and couldn’t get his film into a festival because the organizers assumed he was pro-Putin.
Putin is not Russia, any more than Trump or Biden is America.
Please make gore something you see when you click an article, not something you see along with the headline when scrolling the Latest page. I’m an MK fan, but not everyone is.
Possibly dumb question, but if I’m expected to be offended by the goblin bankers in Harry Potter, shouldn’t I also be offended by this greedy goblin?
Gacha games stay winning. Ko ko da yo!
Sometimes a specific level becomes so famous that you can just name the level, and people think of the game. Like Shalebridge Cradle, or The Meat Circus. For Marathon, that level is called If I Had a Rocket Launcher I’d Make Someone Pay.
It would explain a lot about gacha fandom.
