A reminder that there are only 2 reasons why I would be in North Carolina:

I would just keep buying and selling John Cena’s Ford GT over and over again.

BAC Mono.

Your suggestions are all fine, but a request like this calls for something a little more...radical.

I already suggested a Noble M400, but I will also recommend buying a Toyobaru with a blown motor and swapping in a Synergy V8. While you’ll find plenty of FR-S/BRZ/86s at track days, it’s very unlikely you’ll run into another with this swap. I only know of two out in California.

Orlove is right, but if you want something that is truely street drivable to and from the track, then you can’t beat a 4th Gen Viper ACR. Freshen up the consumables and away you go. Can’t beat it.

Ariel Atom!

As usual, I thought Tom had the right answer and wasn’t going to bother reading any further....then I saw Torchinsky’s choice and I think he nailed it......

Noble M400 is your answer. They come in well under the price range, which is good because... well, British.

Yeah, this feels more like anti-legalization scare tactics than it does science.

1st gear: Im skeptical. The “control” states are notably lesser in population centers and without digging deeper into the research it feels like cherry picked information.

I think that the IIHS study is bullshit. Because marijuana stays in your system longer than alcohol or other drugs, how are police supposed to determine if a person is actually intoxicated? What if they smoked hours ago? Days ago? Daily toker?

Also, how many crashes were actually attributed to marijuana? How would

You don’t have to. Just 25+1 people need to understand the point (although there’s probably more really really ridiculously rich people who are kicking themselves for not being able to secure a Regera, and hope to get on the next Keonigsegg dream project).

Doug, stop reading email and start reading Instagram if you want to drive hypercars

Right - I forgot they were trikes! Although, they didn’t seem to be that much bigger than the karts we drove during the Maricar tour we did a few months ago.

We don’t need no elevation
We don’t need no plane control
No dark sarcasms in the cockpit
Controllers leave them pilots alone
Hey! Controllers! Leave them pilots alone!
All in all it’s just another brick in the wall.
All in all you’ve just hit another brick wall.

In SF there are go carts of this size that you can rent for a tour out of the Pier 39 tourist area. They've been running for awhile.

Tbh I did it and the worst part I felt about it was the noise pollution. My group fully kept up with the speed of the roads and we never caused obstruction. We maybe sat at one light cycle because they didn’t want to risk separating the group.

So they took a regular frame, made it have a taller ride, and added a couple more jumper seats to say it now sits 7.
