This.

@z0iid: Sadly, the words "you're" and "they're" will probably be gone within a generation.

I think we've discovered your method of writing automotive articles:

@Ray Wert: Not sure what link 3 has to do with it, but the others are good. I commend you for pointing them out. However, that's what, 3 articles in a month? Murilee brought that kind of stuff multiple times each weekend (and daily before that).

@Ray Wert: Allow me to clarify. Without Murilee, Jalopnik seems to be primarily New cars/Detroit Auto Show/latest automotive idiocy video. The article obviously isn't written in the Murilee style, but focuses on old oddball cars, which was definiely Murilee territory.

Excellent. This is the kind of article we're losing with the departure of Murilee.

His work is great. Pick up a copy of "Lost America" if you don't have it.

This is a suck. DOTS is what brought me to Jalopnik in the first place. Best of luck, you'll be missed.

Wow, I'd forgotten what a 240SX looked like in unmodified condition.

Suzuki Aerio. I got one of these crapboxes once as a rental in Buffalo. I felt like I should be wearing a rainbow afro wig and red size 25 shoes whenever I got out of it.

@///Mink: By 5-lug I mean "small-pattern" 5-lug. Eyeroll at myself.

@xzzy: No earlier than '68 actually. It's indeed a '71 - 5-lug wheels and small vents for the T1 engine. Only year for that combo.
