Wow, I actually want the Lotus so my vote has to be for the Citroen.

Great to see them still being used as trucks. I have a 1964 single cab truck myself, albeit in "prettier" condition, though it still earns its keep a truck.

@TexanIdiot25: Found a picture. Definitely a 4 door Dodge, but older. Here's the pic:

Didn't a 4-door version of this thing chase down Chevy Chase in the Family Truckster in one of the many "Vacation" films?

Suzuki Aerio. I had the misfortune of renting one of these a few years back and every time I approached in a parking lot all I could think was "Clown car! Clown car! Clown car!"

"no low-ball offer is too low! Unless it is."

Most of us just have to accept going in that we're going to know more than the numbskull standing behind the counter at a chain store.

Signal Orange FTW.

I had a hard time choosing between them when I submitted them. My heart's with the Ghia, but the Benz is probably more of a nightmare and I have a sort of a morbid fascination with it.

I work here in Rancho Cordova, but I'm safe. I'm sure I'll never be pulled over for *courteous* driving.

My Uncle Jack's brand-new 1967 fastback Impala, still wearing the dealer plates from Good Chevy in Alameda:

This one strikes pretty close to home for me. My great-uncle lived in Alameda, was a huge A's fan and drove around the island in an aqua-blue 1967 Impala that he bought new at Good Chevrolet. I still have pics of the day he bought it.

Common, reliable cars with readily-available parts? That sounds more like Project Car Heaven.

It's gotta be a '66 - pointed bumpers and emergency flashers, but still has the early radio plate and non-rubberized dash knobs. And if you look closely, you can see that it does have the finger cutout below the rear hatch. I own a '66 Westfalia myself.

I hope that the guys on the motorcycles put on helmets if they decide to do something dangerous.

Love the cobwebs - as if the passenger door hasn't been opened in months...

One of the weird bits of trivia I recall about the Mustang II was that the gait of the horse emblem in the grille was slowed considerably from previous generations. Compare the emblem to the '66 from a few days ago. A sad commentary on the car itself, too.

I've probably owned 25 or more various VWs over the years (though nowadays I stick with 1967 or older ones). But my very first car when I was 16 was a 1969 Beetle like this one. It withstood all of my stupid teenage driving mistakes and kept coming back for more. Nothing like a simple, reliable beater.

Phenomenal. Rack me. Good night now!
