The entire engine stop/start for very brief traffic stops hasn’t made any sense to me since the very beginning. I understand that the engine uses built compression for the subsequent startup, it still seems it would require a little more fuel for the process to roll through all the cylinders. Plus, I can’t fathom how

This is only superficially true. The ask puts it in some interesting territory, but not in the same condition, and not with the same sleeper performance curve. This car plus three grand would give you some serious performance and, if the springs and shocks are well matched, still a pretty comfortable ride.

Not unless it crashes into a burning dumpster.

Conversion to a camper - yes. Price for a nearly 300k mile drivetrain? NOPE. I don’t care if it IS a diesel, that’s a lot of miles for over 14 grand.

This was the only Mustang I liked from the ‘80s (except maybe the ‘86 SVO).

Thank you! I totally forgot that thing of beauty existed!

Or a kung-pao!

She appears to be a train wreck filled with toxic energy.

So, if I won an eight digit lottery ticket, this would be my fun weekend car (minus that awful rear wing).

There is a high likelihood that your statement, at 8:30am EST, is the most ignorant thing I will read all day. You ignore the actual definitions of both “narcissistic” and “sociopath” to denigrate someone whose political position you disagree with. Like Sanders or not, your choice of words is on par with the way trump

That was the only acceptable answer, as it seemed extremely racially biased and inappropriate.

Even on a car specific site, I’m utterly amazed by the number of mouth breathing shit bags that are defending this.

$30k for a Mallett conversion? Eeeehhh, maybe. A straight conversion without that body kit.

I like that WAY more than I want to. I hope it’s not overpriced, crappy plasticy interior, or both (Jeep Gladiator).

WAY tldr: it’s ALL the superlatives!

The really worse part is now I do it reverse of whichever car I’m driving 😜 It’s like my brain is now wired to reach over the wrong shoulder. I even do it in the passenger seat sometimes.

For me, I continue to reach over my left shoulder for the seatbelt. Oddly, it’s never there!

I’m thinking based on where I bought it, and the fact that it had a winch tray - it was almost certainly a Warn. The thing I remember most is the gooey tar-like crap all over the skid plates. I had to remove those before installation! I had to take off the rear one before I could remove the front. Changing the oil in

Probably pretty close to the 55 speed limit. I was young and stupid, so I doubt I slowed nearly enough for the foggy conditions.

I’ve only had one legitimate off road vehicle. Immediately after bringing it home, I took it to my local 4WD supply shop and bought a brush guard/bull bar. Two weeks later I rear ended a large doe walking down the highway in heavy fog. She was nearly liquified, but the only damage my Trooper suffered was a slightly
