Ok, that is legit badass.

As a genX, I’m not to sure about the millennials! I’m pretty intrigued by genY, though ;-p

There are two schools of thought in those responses to your theory -

Man, you really need to work on reading comprehension. I stand by my statements. If you need a gas truck, buy the shit out of one. If you don’t, eat me. Meanwhile, step off.

True historically. I think they are learning from each release delay, though. Also, the flat panels on this won’t require much elaborate mold making. I’m betting the interior is parts from the other existing vehicles at the time (as it should be).

The Rivian is a good looking truck. It’s base price is as much as the top Cybertruck trim, so, LOTS more money.

What you don’t understand is the cars ARE capable of going long distances. EV owners CHOOSE to use them because it adds the component of travel to the drive. If planned well, a trip will consist of more backroad, community, and scenic touring, which some people still enjoy. Charging stops are chosen specifically

Avert your eyes. Problem solved.

I’m digging the proposed mid-tier model. I really love the camper setup, but I’m betting it’ll either be cost prohibitive or only available with the most expensive trim option.

My point exactly. And, to add to that, the vast majority of people buying trucks for leisure just need someplace to hang some balls.

That’s me. So?

I don’t like black cars. I’d be ok with this one. I’ve had enough seat time in a 930 to know how scary they can be. That’s part of the 930’s appeal - knowing it has the capability to space/time warp you into to nearest large oak tree. Learning how to drive it properly is rewarding enough.

Here’s the real question. How many truck owners are routinely driving 500+ miles per day? Sure, there are people who pull big campers across the country, but they aren’t the market for this. There are people doing a few hundred miles every day carrying ladders, scaffolding, building equipment, etc - they aren’t the

Damn, I hate to say this, but I like that!

Shh, I already submitted a patent for an eel powered car...

Wow, man. I feel kinda sad for people with the sort of hate you are experiencing. Like this truck or not; like the company or not, Tesla has brought EVs into the mainstream. I hope you can someday be a happy, well adjusted person.

Seat and steering wheel heaters. I just want to know if Car Play comes standard...

Ok, boomer.

I’d estimate a full 66% of these morons can’t manage to simply park between two white lines, so negotiating hazards must definitely be a challenge!
