Iirc, the warranty transfers with the car and the terms were 40,000 miles and 4 years? I may have the mileage wrong, though - 60,000 also rings a bell. I made it in just under the 4 year mark. There are a few hoops that have to be cleared. Your car has to have undergone the required periodic battery health checks to

What is your actual range, and what is your efficiency rating? I can get 70-80 miles if I stay pretty conscious that I’m driving the EV, and my rating is a pretty modest 4.0. If I drive it pretty normally, I get around 45-50 miles. I have a bit of a lead foot when I’m not actively conserving energy.

Not awesome. The heat costs me between 15 and 20 percent of my range. If your total commute is 60 miles, you’re probably ok. If it’s 60 each way - fuggettaboutit. Keep in mind, with a 2012, my car is one of the early resistance heater models. The 2013 and newer have a much more efficient heat pump. I try to mitigate

A little effort and homework provide a used EV buyer the potential for a great deal. I bought my 2012 LEAF SV for just under 12k. It had 21,000 on the clock and was missing two “health bars”. I knew with the extended battery warranty, I should be able to get in a valid claim before the time or mileage ran out. I

So we’re months from prototype and less than two years from production? What’s the estimated cost and different configurations?

Man, I loved the Odyssey.

Yet more proof that Clarkson is a giant douche.

To me, the only real flaw with this particular car is that the mods probably make it non-competitive in autocross for NASA and SCCA. The mods are great, and I bet it’s a blast to drive, but it’s almost certainly mod’d to the point where it would be competing with much higher spec cars.

Clearly Fracan cares a great deal about your heritage, and desperately needs something to clench his anus over.

That’s interesting, and not what I would’ve expected!

I np’d this one. I wouldn’t pay much over 7, but a once-over in the shop to confirm the solidity, and I could use a beast like this.

Good friend drives a Baja that he’s christened the “les camino”.

Yep. Came to post just this.

If you want to look at “value”, though, one has to consider resale. I’d be willing to bet that the BMWs (especially the higher end of the two marques) will take less of a hit. The two four bangers would probably be closer. It’ll be interesting to check back in on these two competitors in two to three years and see

Good ‘ol Pitfall Harry. One of the very best!

Or, on a completely different train of thought - a hypothetical Mach 1 could be a serious electric GT with some design cues that, I don’t know... are reminiscent of a Mach 1?

The article states “...he bought it back”, not from his dad. It’s implied that his dad sold it, and he purchased it back.

I mean, those Mustangs have to go somewhere after Cars and Coffee!

“World’s Dumbest Hellcat Driver *So Far*...”

Rakes and Hoes. Isn’t there a rap about that?
