Bryan Cranston was OK in Trumbo, but it was a lightweight movie that didn’t make a splash.

Watched the Revenant last weekend, over 2 nights cause I kept falling asleep. Two takeaways 1) ew 2) the person who made my imaginary bf Tom Hardy so utterly unfuckable deserves an Oscar more than Leo.
I had no idea the music industry had that bad of a reputation. Makes me very glad I’ve never had any interest in it whatsoever.
I don’t know who Tom Hawking is, but I quite like him.
So... Rebuplicans support voter ID laws, then remove DMV’s in poorer areas, but ALSO refuse to support voter ID laws where voting is now an automatic right gained upon obtaining a drivers license in addition to the more traditional way of proving residency to vote. DO YOU WANT VOTER ID'S OR NOT GOP, YOU DONT GET TO…
.... after they leaked that test footage. That’s what REALLY got this project started. Reynolds helped mid-wife the excitement of that leak into a feature film.
I’m rooting for Reynolds a little, but because:
This being one of the few occasions we in the UK get to see a film before you guys, be reassured that the film is glorious and Reynolds is perfect.
My wife HATES superhero movies. Hasn’t even seen either avengers movie or any others. Showed her the trailer for Deadpool, she said she was in. Went tonight, now she’s asking for my comics of him. Turnt +1.
How about this: I will see Deadpool but not the fucking Revenant
If you know the character and/or read the comic, you would understand the love for this movie. Deadpool is not everyone’s favorite. (The humor can be sickly twisted and surreal.) But for the fans, we are a bit devoted. But, again, different strokes...
Yeah I'm rooting for this movie and the people involved because it took so much to get it made. Ryan Reynolds has been so instrumental in that process and is so invested in the movie and the character, that rooting for Deadpool is rooting for Reynolds.
My husband and I don't usually do stuff for Valentine's Day but we're both really psyched to see this Sunday night.
Yeah, rooting for the guys who actually got this movie made is definitely rooting for the underdog and for fans who want not just to get it done but do it right.
The preliminary reviews of the movie were actually pretty positive, but Deadpool has a solid fandom. The fact his titular movie is coming out and looks like it’s staying true enough to the character is reason enough for people (fans of the comics, especially) to be stoked for it.
This movie looks amazing. I’m going to see it with a bunch of girlfriends next weekend, I’m excited!
Yes, absolutely. He helped make the movie happen.
Samies. Also I think the reason why people are “rooting”for him is that he and the writers were working or trying to get this movie done for what 10 years.. and only after leaked footage did they really get the green light from the studio.
Literally 2 inches below your post is a picture of him, so I have to say he’s not super buff, just in shape? Not really gigundo like Channing Tatum, who is distractingly huge when wearing a suit or normal people clothes.
I mean ~80% on Rotten Tomatoes, so pretty close to the other superhero movies in terms of critic ratings. Fans are gonna turn out in droves, too.
