This! I am so sick of being bombarded with footage, spoilers and clips from movies in advance, and I really really really don’t get people who go nuts over that stuff. COME ON, you will see the entire thing, what is the joy in knowing exactly what to expect?

The more traditional and conservative women’s suit is the skirt suit. It’s still somewhat the norm is some industries, (law, finance). Women weren’t even allowed to wear pants on the Senate floor until 1993.

White feminist here; I’ve been labelled a sexist more this past month than the rest of my life combined because I support Sanders. There are plenty of legitimate feminist arguments to be made against Clinton’s past and intended policies, but they seem to be cancelled out in some people’s minds because she’s a woman.

Bring this on!

IKR? American elections have become personality and celebrity contests. It’s not good for us.

YES I LOVE THIS IDEA! Let’s get a regular feature going, because fangirling over powerful political ladies is one of my hobbies, and that feature would really streamline the process.

Very well put. Thank you.

I actually don’t fault people for supporting Bernie. I fault people for calling Hillary or her supporters racists. And that article was unmitigated bullshit. Only a white person would fall for it.

I am Black and I support Bernie Sanders. So, as a Sanders supporter, I respect your support Hillary Clinton. I don’t believe that someone who supports HRC is a traitor to progressive positions. I would just think that the person was a centrist. Hillary Clinton is a corporatist. I also believe she is a war monger. The

Traditionally, it’s a woman’s suit that has pants instead of a skirt, which is the more traditional/conservative option. They are frequently just like the men’s versions: made of the same fabric head to toe. As they have become more common and acceptable, most people now just think of them as suits.

Of course, there’s also a reasonable concern that the incessant dismissal of Sander’s supporters is going to make it difficult to get them to show up to vote for Clinton in November.

I love being told that the reason I’m supporting a candidate is because I’m just a youth chasing after what’s cool. Solid way to engage people who disagree with you.

It’s a great idea. They already do a small town big dicks or something like that. That feature is funny but one about female politicians getting things done in local government would be very uplifting. I would love a feature like that.

Rick Snyder should be the first villain this incarnation of the League takes down. CRUSH HIM UNDER YOUR SENSIBLE MID-HEEL PUMPS!

Exactly my take. If it were new footage, that is what would annoy me. I want something left for when I see it in theaters. These quick hits have been perfect fun to me, without giving anything away.

Jamie McKelvie retweeted this this morning and without even reading the headline and realizing that it was not, in fact, Deadpool marketing, my immediate thought was “Jesus. They’ll put Deadpool on anything.”

Couldn’t agree more. I think it’s genius. They are getting a lot of people who have absolutely no idea who Deadpool is, interested in the CHARACTER, which makes them interested in the movie. There are very few instances where you can do this, and Deadpool is perfectly suited for it.

I’ll take independent ads over a constant barrage of spoilers like:
+ Exclusive movie clips showing set pieces, action scenes or other plot defining scenarios
+ MCU character cameo reveals
+ Clues hinting at villains for sequel
+ etc bullshit

Aside from all that, all the comments here on spot on. He’s known for being in

“I’m tired of movies showing the entire film in the trailer. I’ll take 30 second clips of Ryan Reynolds making fun of Australia over every joke that they’re going to show in the movie.”

Counterpoint: At least, in my circle of friends, the Deadpool marketing is drawing in people who otherwise don’t really care about superhero movies at all. For some reason, it’s getting interest even amongst my *ahem* stodgier friends, who are way more likely to go see a foreign language film in a theater that serves
