@motorbikematt: Yes... I too watched the video. My point was, it would have been nice if the phone was secured in a way so you saw a view of the ground during the descent.
Would have loved to see the descent view... oh well. Still, pretty awesome!
Price please? Seems like this will cost a doozy...
Of course, it takes for granted that the person you're helping actually has an internet connection...
@C3PA: LAN party... see now, it's getting kinda hectic...
Wonder what happens when you cross the laser streams of data... *grabs helmet, puts on body armor, digs a foxhole*

Seriously, I need to fall ass backwards into something like that for once...
So who wants to place bets on whether Sergey or Larry becomes Emperor Palpatine in all of this?

In Soviet Russia, we use such picture technique back in 50's, 60's, and 70's... maybe 80's too... alright, 90's also.
But many of them got caught... kinda takes a bit of the badass out of the whole ordeal.
The US and China becoming one country like in Firefly doesn't seem too far fetched at this point... especially when scrambling for resources. I'm sure either side may have that, "can't beat 'em, join 'em" moment in the future at some point.
