Made me think of this:
Made me think of this:
Just don't let Gilligan and the Skipper on that thing... a 3 hour tour with a ginger, a girl next door, and a moneyed couple will ensue, resulting in some solar storm, the tiny ship getting tossed and getting stranded on some deserted planet...
It remains to be seen whether this intrepid person who fought the law will be able to stop the accompanying refrain, and the law won...
Oh the memories from when I worked on a helpdesk... thankfully I didn't get a gun and shoot myself back then.
@Audaxero: a 2 week ride from Netherlands to Delhi via Iran and Turkey... someone needs to do a movie of this.
Yes, but can it get past defenders by going offsides and wave its hands angrily while looking at the ref with a distraught look on its face for what is obviously a bad call in its head?
The huge problem with Twitter is just that... past a certain point it becomes unwieldy and becomes less a tool of communication and more a wasteland of people talking at each other.
@Axelph: Isn't funny that even after seeing the White House get incredibly wired (or should I say wireless)... well in comparison with the not to recent past, we'll still have extremely low expectations? Exactly, it's just the government.
With all the power they have to generate for their datacenters... if they have excess power, why not sell it. No biggie. Of course next we'll hear that they are chartering a state constitution so they can ask to join the Union. It'll be a virtual state with Sergey and Larry as governor.
That's hot!
@peligro_: Yeah, I usually read an article about Courier if I caught one... but I personally haven't seen many stories about it even though from the video renditions of the device, it did look pretty interesting.
@greatsayaman: Should see if it'll play episodes of Felicity...
I was going to try to say some witty comment about watching Lost on it... but I see a few people did that already. Try, of course, is the operative term in that statement.
@OCEntertainment: Okay, missed the mid 2010 detail. Thanks. Yeah, I know someone who does design who's wondered about whether there would be stylus capabilities with some of these devices. I understand. I suppose I personally haven't found myself wanting such a feature...
@Deaf Mute: I personally don't see myself using the device to do that. I suppose, as shown here, some people would find that feature very useful. I don't have an interest in it though since the reasons for why I want a tablet are probably different from yours. Of course that's not a problem... obviously we'll…
Be interesting if this is the courier project... thought that was a bit of a way off... obviously they've been stealthy... and who knew HP was involved? But the stylus... not liking that.
@Yerzriknot: probably just sarcasm born from how ailments that largely affected women sometimes received a little less attention in the past. I believe that's changed for the better for the most part. With all the advocacy regarding breast cancer for instance, I'd be surprised if this situation still existed.
@ub: This is not about some authoritarian state dictating how someone lives their life on the basis of their genetics. This is taking advantage of the fact that acting in the public space leaves footprints in the digital space. I am suggesting that the same due process protections remain but that we become better at…
@chanaz: Was thinking the same... hey, maybe this concept can carry over to other cancers hopefully. And hopefully someone gets on it right away.
@ub: At the end of the day, we have the ability to data mine. I'm sure there are a certain set of actions that will tend towards making a reasonable case towards at least ordering surveillance on someone. And there are clandestine courts designed to make sure that the proper steps have been taken to secure a…
