That doesnt surprise me. I was wondering how he doesnt get bored with working on the same theoretical shape for his whole career

most credit cards have a number on the back for verification

I think its worse to put the sleep button (on a wireless keyboard no less) next to the esc key because the power button normally requires more effort to press than the other keys on the keyboard, but the sleep button requires the exact same amount of force. Also, I must say that the power button on my Gateway laptop

How does he not get bored? And how exactly does someone come to the point where they focus their entire professional career around studying a geometry that doesnt actually exist in the real world? wait...what exactly is there to study about a theoretical shape, if in order to discover said shape, you would have to be

So now gizmodo will be fast and responsive on the computers at school! ive been using FF4beta for a month and the javascript rendering speed is amazing compared to FF3.6. the javascript engine makes a huge difference on sites like Giz (and many "current" sites, not just picking on giz) the rely heavily on javascript.

what is that supposed to mean? To me it seems fairly retarded to make baseless accusations about someone you don't without explaining the reason for your completely untrue accusations. Furthermore, I simply missed the connection that Sam Biddle is an editor at Gizmodo, which is a perfectly honest mistake to make when

Shouldn't you change "How to Safeguard Your Computer..." to "How to Safeguard your Mac...". Isn't Facetime only officially available on OSX currently?

I don't find it reprehensible, however many people do, and this guy was not working with the intent of developing organ transplant technology for use on people, he just wanted to see what would happen, and if any of this would work.

I would have to agree that physical buttons, and analog gages still have advantage over digital displays. The biggest advantage being that physical buttons don't move, and you don't actually have to think when looking at a gage to tell if it is in the right place or not. Just look at the difference in touch typing

This seems like overkill to me.

It took me a couple years but I got every plate except Rhode Island. I had a large map of the US on my bedroom wall, and I put sticky notes on each state after I saw the plate. The closest I ever got to seeing Rhode Island was when they made a joke about it in the Jim Carry remake of the How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

its gummy candy. I would use a knife. The only problem is the usb drive will be sticky forever

I have to say Apple has really pulled a fast on on the tech world. Not only were they the first ones to bring an ARM tablet to mass market, they are actually releasing hardware that is better than the next leading competitor, but they are also the cheapest thing on the market right now. good play

Somebody should create a museum or at least a website dedicated to all of the scientists who performed morally reprehensible experiments that changed the face of science and medicine. I nominate this guy, and the psychologist (his name escapes me currently) who separated rhesus monkeys from their mothers at birth to

yes exposed bulbs look cool in pictures, but they dont look so cool when they are blinding you because some restaurant is to cheap to by lamp shades.

I have a feeling that the world population with a tablet is way way less than 0.3%.

What exactly is the difference. Is a Mac not a personal computer? And what is the difference between the iPad and the iPhone 4? Hell tablets and smartphones are even more similar to each other than Macs and PCs because tablets and smartphones use the exact same OS.

I really hope that Nasa makes a second one of these named D2

Ill just spend $35 on a Fiskars and donate the rest to a veteran's society
