Nearly anything that real estate developers want should make normal humans deeply suspicious if not recoil in disgust.

I am a life long New Yorker and I only took a carriage ride once. It was at night, there was little traffic and it was really nice. Not nice enough for the overwork and crazy conditions these animals go through. I don’t know how they could make the hansom cabs safe for the horses and still be economical to run.
Musta been something he ate.
You know what might work? There are these new fangled things called Horseless Carriages.
I used to work on the same block as the Clinton Park Stables and I couldn’t agree more with Birnkrant’s assessment of the industry as a whole. Horses should not be in the city (or any city for that matter), whether pulling carriages or for police officers because it is incredibly cruel and they live shitty lives in…
Fox news will blame Biden for this terrorist attack. (joke?)
There is literally no need for horses to be walking on the streets of New York City lol
Hmm...I think a lot of these problems apply to the mounted police as well. Should probably disband that unit.
His mask was off in 2000; just that the brainwashed couldn't see it.
Nope, becsuse if they didn’t fund tesla with their free money, its bankruptcy would be a distant memory by now, so they’d have made nothing on the stock.
They bought a promise, and Elon's great at producing those...
Don’t forget it was gonna jump with compressed air rockets or some bullshit too. That should have been the clue that this fantasy car was never gonna be real.
I’d get some popcorn and watch Musk and Ye duke it out on accusations of plagiarism.
people were asked to wire transfer $50,000 to secure their place in line for the car, or pay the full $250,000 for one of the one-thousand “Founders Edition” models...
There’s no way in heaven or hell they would be giving anyone a free anything because some people were being cheeky with a referral system. The roadster isn’t happening because Elon just had to have the damn Cybertruck and that shafted their production plans for the foreseeable future.
To be fair, suckers paying money in advance for a product they never receive is not exactly a new concept.
“There’s a sucker born every minute.”
I’ve attended F1 races, including Monaco, so there’s no “bucket list” mentality that would get me into Vegas for this race. All I see is obscene price-gouging being implemented. If that floats yer boat, getting reamed over seeing a race where you’ll be cordoned into one section only, fine, do it. But I maintain you’ve…
Tipping is *supposed to be* an extra thank-you for good, personal service. Not an expectation.
The latter.
