She’s not running for state-wide office. She’s running for suburban Richmond, which likely skews educated, not necessarily prudish, and purple if not outright blue. What the ‘hill folks’ have to say won’t matter.

I’m not convinced that this tactic will do her more harm than good. How many Virginians will feel more inclined to vote for her than they otherwise would’ve been before learning that she’s just like them?

I won’t run because I literally spent years ordering weed (and other drugs) illegally.

I get that shitty attitudes still abound, but she can’t just be broken up with. I don’t think she’s going to drop out, I don’t think there will be any real pressure for her to drop out (especially a couple months from the election), and I think in the context of 2023 where LOTS of people send nude photos and videos to

Lol, do you think buying drugs is disqualifying? I have some information about a couple of our recent presidents…

Shocking exposes.....Democrat women’s hemlines rise to whorish levels! Our 11 part documentary next on Fox News. Got to love their ability to play both sides of the fence without an ounce of hypocrisy.

Everyone knows what cops are like. Cops know what cops are like, which is why departments only hire applicants with the lowest IQ scores.  FFS, Florida is actively recruiting cops who were fired for misconduct by other states’ departments.

Fine, I’ll bite.

Sadly the standards for what it takes to become a cop have been lowered repeatedly. At this point I think they will accept anyone who has a pulse and can squeeze a trigger.

Something something fentanyl” - the officer’s defense

Cops always lie.

I get that in some situations that a cop can in fact be scared.

The footage shows Dial getting out of his cruiser and approaching Irizarry’s car with his gun drawn. “I will f——— shoot you,” he says, before firing into the front driver’s seat where Irizarry was seated.

If you're scared of a knife (or your own shadow), you have NO BUSINESS being a cop.

And the DA says voluntary manslaughter? BS charge.

We know how this works. For him to be declared innocent all he has to do is convince the jury he was scared. Doesn’t matter if he was trained to not be scared, or if the reality of the situation was different form how he perceived it. If a cop gets scared and kills someone, it’s justified. That’s how qualified

That was my first thought, too. The fact that the cops blatantly lied about this shooting is somehow a footnote in many of these conversations.

The degree to which society has normalized the “well, the cops obviously lied about the shooting, but it’s not that big a deal, let’s focus on what happened here” attitude is really amazing.

Murder. Straight up.

JFC, man. Aside from “I was scared for my life”, what about your damn partner?
