My car is slowly electrocuting me with static shock. Is there any way to discharge myself (without pain) before I touch my metal door, to close it, and shock myself yet again. Everything inside the car is plastic or cloth. Seriously, I see a blue arc, and hear a loud pop on many occasions. It's always followed by cuss

I hate it when you put your cat in the fridge, it gets pushed to the back and you forget about it, then it goes bad.

Does anybody know of a pay -as-you-go comparison chart? I'm getting ready to switch over to that type of plan, and had an idea of who to go with, but wanted to make sure.

Is this Bizarro World?

Anybody know how to get lightning, sunbird, rainlendar, and palm desktop software calendar to talk to each other? Throwing google calendar in there would be an added bonus too.

@whiteflea: This might be a possibility because they said the problem started after a thunderstorm came through. Thanks

@Attmay: I think they got it back in july. Don't know if they are eligible. I'm pretty sure it has all the updates. I'll check to see if the driver has been updated. Thanks.

I've used Shutter for a while now. www.den4b.com

Everything that connects to my TV uses RCA cables. The problem is my TV only can accept one set of cables, so every time I want to use something different, I have to unplug one set of cables, and plug in the cables of the device I want to use. I was wondering what kind of set-up other people had to fix the problem. I

A buddy of mine recently moved into a condo and got a new computer with Windows Vista. At first he had no problems with his internet, then it started taking forever to connect, and lost connection after the computer comes out of sleep. His computer is the first time I've ever messed with Vista, so I'm not much help.

@blood_vampire: I guess my copy of windows might have been borked. I had loaded something I wanted to play, and when it started up, it would only play for 15 or 20 seconds then cut off abruptly. I thought I could play a song that was the the same length it took Windows to finish loading all the start up stuff. When

Is there any way to make the start up music last longer when Windows starts. I was wanting to use a full length song for start up instead of just a few seconds.

I was wanting to put a dock app launcher on Karmic Koala. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I've tinkered around with trying to get wireless working on my laptop with Karmic Koala. Does anybody know of any guides on the subject or have any suggestions? It's a dell Inspiron 1501.

At work there's a little bit of a draft. I'm able to keep my left hand in my jacket pocket, but my mouse hand is usually freezing. I try to warm it up between clicks, but it doesn't last long. I don't want to wear one glove 'ala Michael Jackson, so does anyone have any recommendations? Now that I'm getting older, it

I'm thankful for all the others that people have listed, and also:

@shuneycutt: Same here, never heard about this. Going to have to check it out this year.

Doesn't adding another program to your machine, make your machine work harder, use more energy, thus increase your footprint?

I always get a gift card that has nothing to do with what I'm getting it for. For Christmas this year I got a pink "Congratulations on the new baby" card for my not old enough to drive brother in law, a Sponge Bob card for my almost high school step son and a "Way to go on your graduation" card for my 60 something
