Sweet! I ruined my kid's childhood for... $60 every three years.

Gaslight England Assassins. Feudal Japan Assassins. Egyptian Assassins. Old West Assassins. Norse Assassins. Maritime Caribbean Assassins. They all sound great, but we can rule out some of those because they aren't all renowned for having 100+ foot structures to climb. Buffalo, New York might also be a bit of a

All I'm gonna say is that if you thought XIII's plot was absurd, XIII-2 is going to be the most childish, jibberish-ridden story of anything ever. Yep, even you, Scientology.

Do 8 and Suikoden belong in that list? I remember Xeno and Cross having an allotment of points with light, medium, and heavy attacks accumulating points.

This makes me pretty happy this holiday season was so overcrowded - I have yet to open my copy of Skyrim for PS3 - maybe I'll return it for the 360 version. Part of me was waiting on bug fixes (and the 360's month headstart to beta-test the DLC). Problem is, I only pick up 360 games digitally, so were I to pick up

But really it was more about ambience and aesthetic anyway.

Only the young girls could metabolize having Adam slugs leeching their intestines - males (even young ones) were killed in the process. Now why you needed to make a whale tank emitting skunk pheromones to guard them...

Oh God, it's really, really hard to avoid making a list of countries next to the opposite of their stereotype. Must remain unbanned!

I think the differences I hear in the bass of the voice could account for the differences between being boom miced and VO recording. I definitely hear similarities in the man's delivery, but unlike, say, Ray Liotta's, this man's is a thoroughly unexceptional voice. It could be many, many people.

I hate to promote your comment, but if you think it's the "worse" looking Uncharted, wait until the ocean chapters. They're jaw-dropping. Or replay the first Uncharted - it's not as pretty as you remember it.

Here's a question I've got before I begin the game proper - I'd like to make a magic(ka)-oriented character (I've settled on Imperial), but does the lightning perk that turns your target to ash if its health is low render it unlootable? And does the fire perk that makes foes flee when their HP is low draw other mobs

There's a stone you can activate that adds 100 weight capacity to you and has an additional effect I can't recall.

No. I didn't. I was speaking generally of game reviews - especially reviews that run in advance of an embargo lifting. They seem bought to me - mostly in place to generate hype or quote in a trailer. The embargo on this game has lifted. I mentioned this in other comments, which you're free to read.

Imperial or High Elf or Dark Elf. Probably in that order. Magicka will be consumed.

In general, not in the case of this particular game.

I'm sure the game is fine. Game reviews are simply too high in general.

I mean in general, not necessarily in this particular instance. Gamespot was caught on it a few years back, I haven't really looked into it much, though.

Call me a cynic, but I feel like a lot of the perfect scores doled out by reviewers are purchased by the publisher, especially with the smaller sites. And IGN.

The multiplayer is the best of the series, even if I think assault rifles are the least useful they've ever been with most of the given maps (when you can roll with machine pistols and SMG's). They made such intelligent choices in regards to upgrading your weaponry and how you're constantly earning things. It's just a

Oh for fuck's sake, someone hack Origin so Valve doesn't lose any business to them.
