If he’s just doing smallish venues, you could probably fill it with his victims. Or at least the first several rows.

Yes, but he’s going to say it in silly voices and make weird faces so it’ll be amusing to people...skazzm-blazzm!

“Rapes aside...”  LOL

I ask again, how many articles about Matthew Perry’s book release did the AV Club sign the contract for?

I think we are all in the process of reading Perry’s book—one anecdote at a time. I’m afraid it’s unavoidable, unless we disconnect wi-fi for the next 6 months.

Is there someone with a weapon to your back forcing you to go see Terrifier 2? Did you perhaps get lost on your way to the early-bird buffet at the casino? Do you need us to call someone for you?

“If something I don’t like is popular, it must mean I’m wrong about things I DO like! There is no other recourse than reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee”

Nothing like a post about Terrifier 2 to bring out an AV Club commenter’s inner uptight evangelical movie censor.

Was that meant to be sarcastic? Men writing about shitty exes is half of country music. The other half is women writing about their shitty exes.

She’s been in a happy, committed relationship for five years with Joe Alwyn and just put out two of her most critically acclaimed albums last year. But, sure, stick with that narrative from 2012.

“My new, good friend Joe Rogan...” -Letitia Wright, improbably

“by a group of people who mostly don’t give a shit about Harry Potter?”

I haven’t read the HP books and probably won’t, but if they’re good, they’re good. There’s the art and there’s the artist. If the art is fine, it doesn’t become less fine when the artist’s shortcomings are revealed. Otherwise, we’d have to throw out a ton of books, paintings, movies, music. Miles Davis and Herman

I am still amazed, and it is a testament to Bautista, that I sat through all of “Army of the Dead.” I really count that movie, Sucker Punch, and Snyder’s superman garbage (especially the Snyder Cut) among the most dispiriting “culture is degrading” things I’ve ever seen, even moreso than Michael Bay’s Transformers

Yeah, I felt the same way about his escapades in LA as the show wound down. I just think Dexter was still fresh enough in my brain to sort of inhibit Mad Men from being anywhere near what happened to Dexter.

Agreed. Betty dying off-screen was such a disservice to the character/January Jones.

PS - it’s no accident that since the finale aired, Esalen has become a hot commodity among tech bros.

Unless it’s a bad horror-comedy (i.e. Sharknado), in which case it’s both dull and infuriating because the filmmakers are cynically trying to use humor as an excuse for incompetence.

I think that last season overall was wildly underwhelming (why was the waitress even necessary?) but pairing Peggy up with Stan for just about no reason whatsogoddamnever pissed me off so much. You’ve set Peggy up as this budding feminist badass who doesn’t need any fucking men to achieve her goals, and then oh! Now

MikeD is obviously someone with a deeply rigid and idiosyncratic definition of competence. Or maybe its just one of many words hopefully thrown together to leverage an opinion, none of which having any real sensibility behind them.
