If their relationship isn’t fleshed out, she becomes just another Amazonian trope. There’s nothing stopping them from revisiting this in a later movie with better respect, rather than just giving a little box or Easter egg. Do we expect Okoye’s current relationship to persist?

Except that they also make backups and copies, and have multiple active copies at the same time. We learn all this by the end of the first episode.

Alexa works flawlessly without IFTTT. IFTTT isn’t flawless anyway, having to make a recipe for each and every channel you may want to turn to.

You can do the same thing with Alexa, but without shortcuts.

“Hey Google, turn to $Channelnumber.” Will that work without a shortcut for each and every channel?

If you want to use it within the activity, none of these things that people are telling you to do will work (change to a specific channel number, for example). Some things will work with more and more shortcuts, but none of this is necessary with Alexa.

Can you do this for “Hey Google, turn to channel $CHANNELNUMBER?”

I often want to turn to a specific channel on tv. This ONE thing is better in Echo, at least right now.

I mentioned this in my post, that I have too many shortcuts. Shortcuts I don’t need with Amazon.

I have no problems with turning on the TV, it’s anything after that that becomes an issue.

I’m not using a Chromecast, I’m using Logitech Harmony integration. So if you know how to do that when in your stb and sending commands to Harmony, I’m all ears.

Which I mention in my post.

It’s not an issue, except for the fact that you don’t have access to any of your activities, which is a big issue.

I am talking about Harmony integration. You are using HDMI-CEC.

Harmony requires voice match.

This is not true for Harmony.

It works with Harmony, via “Ok Google, ask Harmony to...”. It’s a mouthful, and I have way too many shortcuts because of it.

I would have to disagree with the home automation part. Google gets won’t often; Alexa is almost always flawless. Plus for me, Harmony integration is important.

To say ”it only works for X” means that “for All Y,Y!=X, it does not work for Y”, not “for All X, it works for X”.

Yes.
