I enjoy my lte enabled Android Wear smart watch because I work out every day and use Google play music. I don’t need my phone at the gym to listen to music, and I also keep my sets and reps on Google keep. I’ve already broken a phone screen at the gym on a day I didn’t have the watch.

You’re referring to the self selection study? Anyway, the amount of people suffering from it doesn’t allow that $100m isn’t enough for research. Again, I don’t know what the right amount is, but I know that amount isn’t a function of the amount of people afflicted.
That’s not what I said at all. My statement was about two issues:
How much does it cost to stop dementia? Suicidal thoughts?
Why considerably more? How much is needed? Without that information we’re comparing apples and oranges.
So, how much SHOULD they be spending? I’m not sure what the point of this is.
