Is that Thomas Barbusca!?? YES!
John mentioned it but didn’t put it as a point but the actual biggest thing that is a hurdle to socialized medicine in this country is the fact that it will destroy the insurance industry.
Damn I couldn’t have worded it any better than this.
This.
If a game or developer does not align with your politics and you feel strongly about it, then don’t buy the game. By all means, take a stand. Sign an online petition stating that you’re not buying the game because it fails to give equal representation to women. If you want to enact real change and enough people feel…
Sad news. I’ll always remember him as Janos in The Legacy of Kain game series.
Yeah, it feels very deliberately coordinated. It seems likely they put a rough cut as an enticement to stream HBOMax - like a bonus feature on the DCEU page.
I remain skeptical that this isn’t some sort of play. Gal Gadot is a contracted actor with WB, Zack Snyder (by all accounts) is on good terms with them, Ben Afflack is a working actor. Gadot and Afflack don’t seem like the type of people to have strong enough feelings about the movie to risk their relationship with…
Do we need it: No
The only people who ever got to see the lightning fingers were those who got killed by it (sans Yoda, who immediately went into hiding. To the general public, Palpatine was just an old man who survived an assasination attempt by the clergy.
Yeah, right? If our government were a bunch of Catholic clergy with laser swords and they got kicked out of office by a Satanist with lightning fingers, would I even be alarmed?

That doesn’t make sense. Even with the Empire trying to stamp out traces of…
At least the prequels had an actual story, even if the dialog was frequently awful and the direction rusty at best.
Nu-metal or Djent? Or somewhere in the middle, like Disturbed?
If they did that then we’d probably have another Edge of Tomorrow situation where the trailers looked so generic that nobody saw it.
I love that they got Guy Pierce to be the guy who manipulates a man with erased memories to kill people he wants to dispose of by making him think they were the ones who killed his woman. I like this already just for that meta moment.
I’m sure it wouldn’t be possible to keep the story a secret, even if the studio wanted to, but it would be neat if they advertised this as the generic revenge story it initially seems, and kept quiet about the reality-bending nature of the story.
Hardcore Henry?
How is Moore being an asshole? He asked DC to do a work for hire contract, they said, “No, but we’ll put a clause in the contract that says once Watchmen goes out of print for a couple of years, ownership reverts back to you and Dave;” And then proceeded to never let the comic go out of print.
A decade passes and Moore…
