Totally disagree, not every show needs to have a person to root for, in fact some of the best shows have terrible people on all sides. The Sopranos’, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Shield. You could argue GOT was at it’s best when there weren’t good guys and bad guys, but a bunch of squabbling power hungry families.

Not trying to be all MRA but I thought it was interesting how episode 1 had a viewer advisory for rape and episode 8 didn’t. Even though the latter was karmic it was still uncomfortable to watch...

There’s a lot of great mythology that comes from non-northern European origin. Forced diversity is just as racist as intentional exclusion.  Just find diverse stuff to watch, with a diverse creative and production staff. If you don’t want Tolkien, leave it alone.

Seems like their accomplishments mean nothing next to their skin color. Some would say that sounds, oh I don't know...racist? Can we just be excited about what we hope is to come from their endeavor without judging them by appearance or gender? Can't wait to see what they create!

I’m not sure what it is, but I think Bucky is right there at the top of my favorite characters. Maybe it’s the flighting through all of the conflict to try to be good, when he was always one of the best of people --no doubt a big part of the reason why Steve Rogers was who he was -- before Hydra screwed him up.

The Cap/Bucky escape apartment escape in Civil War is the BEST action sequence. It’s brutal, thrilling, and creative. I adore it.

How good was Jesse Plemmons in Game Night? Holy cow, that guy’s terrific.

Despite its flaws I genuinely enjoy this movie. I watched it recently in preparation for this article and it still hold up for the most part.
