Cast Jason Statham as the bad guy, I’ll see it.

He’s recovered pretty well with The Foreigner.
Screw Bond, I want a Nolan feature length CIA movie.
Free Fire was a lot of fun. I’d be down with him helming a Bond. The franchise needs a shot of energy and I think he could deliver.
I agree. Caliban’s angry at the glass regardless. It’s getting old.
Minor quibble, Hank isn’t blond, he’s “tow-headed.”
I’m not enthused by this. To preface, I should be over the moon. But I think the MCU has succeeded and grown due to it’s limitations. Without Spider-Man (at least at the outset) and the X-Men/Wolverine the MCU dug deeper and gave us some weirder stuff. If they’re only making 2-3 movies a year, and one of them is…
I hope you’re right.
Agreed! I had so much fun watching it. Glad I caught it in the theaters too. The cast was great, and it seemed like Samuel L Jackson actually showed up. I like SLJ but he’s one of those guys who can get employed just based on his name and might not have to try his hardest. He was crazy and menacing in Kong.
I’m fine with the joke, but I’m surprised the moving needle of io9 found it funny.
I’m surprised there wasn’t any backlash, no one upset by Marvel making fun of mental health
It was awfully unfunny, but that’s about it. They were bad “jokes” the same quality he writes today, but the material was “edgy” 14 year old shit.
I have nothing to add, but I wanted to say I love your name. “Me and Ares are a little tired of all this sinning!”
I’m surprised there aren’t more operations out there like Blumhouse. There have been a lot of fun interviews with Leigh Whannell regarding his recent film Upgrade. This is the type of film that could catapult him to bigger budget stuff, he’s friends with James Wan too, so that wouldn’t hurt. But he’s said he’ll…
You’re right about the media. It’s all over the place, and these sites as well. And especially with how interactive some of the “news” feels now. People are down here commenting, feeling like they’re part of it all. The news piggybacks on and legitimizes outrage, pushes the outrage further, then capitalizes again on a…
It kind of works like a bad 80s action movie. You can have fun watching it, just pretend it’s something your older cousin gave you on VHS. “This is totally rad, dude!”
Jurassic World: Indogimus Rex. It will bring DMX in as a new scientist obsessed with canine DNA (‘cause there’s only one way to be, that’s the dog.)
And they reveal this is all the backstory to Theodore Rex. Whoopi’s showing up at the end of Jurassic World 3.
If she’s that powerful, she’s also going to be a boring character. I’m excited for the movie, I think it could be a lot of fun, but they definitely need to do a better job with her than they’ve been doing in the comics for awhile.
And yet they’re covering Bendis comics?
