That’s why I enjoyed the White Wolf character so much, he’s a great subversion of the classic comicbook outsider/white savior trope.

It is a phenomenal run. The last time I read through it, it didn’t feel 20(!) years old. It still feels modern. The stories are political and labyrinthine, but Priest still embraced the fact he was writing a comic book.

I thought they didn’t have to touch it, just watch?

Part of me wonders if it’s all for show. I suspect not, but it would be a great cover. He’s in his 50s. There may come a day when he wants to retire. If that happens he could just wash the shit out of his hair, shave, put on a normal shirt, and walk down the street without anybody noticing him.

I thought that was weird too. I’d think it’s his most recognizable role.

Ken’s also the go-to middle aged Asian actor in Hollywood. Casting him would be the least surprising move.

I get it. I don’t cry, but near the end of Mad Max Fury Road I feel emotion. A good soundtrack/score can ramp this up big time.

Are you Barb Lahey?

Zap to the extreme!

Meme savvy has been keeping them on life support for awhile. It feels like this could be a dose of adrenaline to the heart.

You can’t give it all up at once, you have to hold onto something for those DLC dollars.

Came here expecting this. I wonder if we can tweak it for a Sonichu?

I’d also be interested in seeing a timeline of development for the movie. The lesbian characters were introduced fairly recently. While they’re using some of the names now, that may have been a recent update to the script and story. The bulk of the material for the movie may have been decided 2-3 years ago.

The series looks promising. I’m torn on the college aspect, it doesn’t feel like it fits this character, from what I’ve read of her thus far.

We’re Lawyers!

There’s a video on youtube of him riding the subway. He’s sitting down, notices a woman who got on carrying a bag, gets up and offers his seat right away. Seems like a class act in every way possible.

He showed us, throughout the course of the election, that “truth” can be whatever you want.

It reminds me of the mother who was upset at Cam Newton last year for celebrating too much and not being a “good role model.” People always pipe up and say how athletes should use their celebrity for good causes and be role models. Then when an athlete heeds the call and participates in some activism, this shit
