This is only weird to me because she’s so vocal about her body type... but we can’t even see it. Adele isn’t your typical famous-young-woman-singer body type either but she’s also not trying to build a brand off of having a different body or having to fend off dudes in the club

Ok, that makes sense. But I guess to me there’s a happy medium between wearing a Beyonce-esque bodysuit and wearing giant coats that totally hide the fact that she’s not as thin as other popstars. It’s because she’s all about modesty and “saving herself” for a dude. So seems more like a personal preference.

Its sad, because this the shittiest type of publicity stunt. Faking a scandal that makes it look as though she is standing up for herself, and wanting to be true to her body.

I 100% refuse to believe she didn’t see the video before it was released. This is a classic publicity stunt. It fits into a popular media and cultural narrative, promotes her new single/album, and feeds classic tropes (big mean label versus artist).

Clearly they didn’t photoshop all the “crap” out- you can still hear the song! Hey-o!!
