I’m thrilled to see the addition of Under the Silver Lake on this list. I loved it. The setting is great, and I love the Pynchon-esque narrative approach. And, most importantly, the movie accomplished something I never imagined possible - it made me appreciate Andrew Garfield.

I was at the game the other night and laughed at Drake the whole time. It’s so cringey to watch him jump up and down and try his damnest to be a part of the team. It’s like seeing a 5 year old kid watching an older brother play a sport and wanting to be a part of it SO BADLY. 

Just for anyone who needed to hear this today, alcohol is not responsible for your partner’s shitty abusive behavior. I had too much to drink hosting a bachelorette this weekend (safely at home), and my instinct was to wash the dishes and clean the kitchen. (Not very successfully, but the point stands.)

THANK YOU! I rented the movie from the local library within the past month because of this. It’s really solid. Some great fight scenes. I would gladly trade a Nightwing movie with JGL produced by Christopher Nolan instead of the Snyder Murderverse that we ended up with.
