10 years ago you might have convinced me. But there’s so much capability to de-age actors in CG that I highly doubt that would be the explanation with a new actor cast in the role.
Fuck you, Virtuosity is a masterpiece! Russell Crowe was such a great villain! I met a girl named Parker earlier this year and immediately muttered “Hey Parker, this one’s for you.” Nobody around me knew what the hell I was talking about. Sucks for them. That movie was the tits.

That may be an idea for the studios in the future, just put out 5 minutes of raw footage clips and music from the score and have some sort of contest were the fans can make the trailers.
One of the series I totally enjoyed this season. It is easy to feel comfortable with Momonga as main character since as you said he is “lawful evil”. I hope there will be a second season that somewhat gives us story development why all this has happened. Then again it was interesting to see how one ends in to a game…

While on the character side Overlord is a joy to watch, it does fall a little short on the story side. Outside of exploring the new world Momonga finds himself in, there’s very little in terms of plot and story development.
