I find it odd the east has more tracks, being more densely populated. I live in upstate NY and withing 20 minutes is a paved oval, 10 mins to a dirt track and an hour and half gets me to Watkins Glen. Its sad to see these small track going by the wayside.

Didn’t exactly get out of it but I did the diversion program where you pay a small fee and do defensive driving the ticket is dismissed. Worked for me.
