"resources" as in processing power, memory, etc. are a lot cheaper than they were 11 years ago. Why not take advantage of it? Would you rather they make an OS that will still run on a Pentium 1 processor but have a lot less features?
Some companies do. Smith Thompson in Texas is the one I'm familiar with.
Engadget was mentioned as well. Though I guess I can see why you wouldn't care to mention that here.

Perfectly sized roadway? The kid on the big wheel takes up 2 full lanes.
Slightly better than all the clicking, but why multiple colums?
The 200 and 300 aren't true Harmony remotes. I'd say they are more like regular universal remotes that can use the same database of codes. The rest of the Harmony series use a separate program on your computer to set up. They have many more features (including the ability to adjust delays yourself).

I made this comment on another thread already, but Ensenda is another shipping carrier they use that may be able to do it.
They already use more than just UPS/FedEx. I get quite a few Amazon packages delivered by Ensenda. Usually things I order or are scheduled to be delivered on weekends. I'm not entirely sure how Ensenda works, but it seems like it would fit in with the idea of same day delivery.

@jayrads Notice that it isn't entirely clear where your ^^^'s are pointing to with this new system.

I've been using MX Player for quite a while and really like it. Lifehacker's favorite (as of July 2011) was Mobo Player. [lifehacker.com]
Is anyone really waiting for VLC anymore? There are a couple good media players that play pretty much everything already.
