End of the 1st paragraph in the article: "Not sure what usenet is? Here's a primer." with a link that takes you to a page explaining usenet...

"Here's video" of a "writer" who can't come up with a different title for any of his posts that include any kind of video. Seriously, how many times do you include that in the title of your posts??

It's already available on most other e-readers. Amazon is last or close to last to offer the feature.

There is a full season option.

I use Tor (www.torproject.org) to get around blackouts. It is slow, but MLB.tv only checks your location right at the start. Once the stream is going you can go back to your regular connection and it works fine.

I'll probably end up getting it. I've been waiting long enough for the Bionic or Galaxy S II and since the GS2 isn't coming to Verizon I'm left with the Bionic. I just don't want to wait longer for the Prime.

It's comparable to the Galaxy S II which is just now being released in the US as well. There isn't another phone with specs as good as the Bionic. I would hardly call it outdated. The prime could be as much as 2 months away if the October date is correct. There will always be a better device around the corner.

While ctrl+2 apparently does work, isn't ctrl+b the more standard shortcut for bold?

Almost no one has a carry on in the "improved" method and they would have to be lined up correctly prior to boarding for it to work the way it does in the video.

Not sure if 2.1.1 is the same, but 2.1 just has a nag screen after 30 days but still works fine.

Yep, works fine on 64 bit Windows 7 for me too.

I'd promote this if I could, but since I don't have a star on Gizmodo I'll just reply and say I agree.

Maybe he did have something to do with those patents, but it is pretty common for higher up people to add their names on patents just because they can.

Why does the OP want to shut the computer down every night? I believe the power usage between sleep and shut down is minimal. Not wanting to wait for it to boot up is a perfect reason to use the convenience of just putting it to sleep.

That post cites a single international flight and shouldn't really be used to generalize all situations. As always, you have to look at all of your options and compare...
