Maybe I don't completely understand iOS's "multitasking" but wouldn't this app need to be open and have a gps signal all the time if you actually wanted to get notifications?

aCar does all the mileage stuff on Android as well so you don't need a separate app for mileage and maintenance. There is also a $5 version of it that is needed for some of the more advanced backup and export options.

I remember seeing something about it quite a while ago. That link you posted looks like it could be what I saw.

From the Google mobile blog: "You can begin routing around traffic with Google Maps Navigation for Android in North America and Europe where both Navigation and real-time traffic data are available."

Pretty sure they use data from people actually using Google Nav or even just having Google maps open.

An actual color calibration is not a scam. It does more than what you can do with a simple test pattern.

Don't forget the same article shown in the right hand column. And then probably a daily recap or best of the week that you will eventually see it in just in case you missed it the first 4 times.

Gizmodo and Digital Trends a bit late on this story?

Input Director (windows only), which is one of the reasons I switched to it from Synergy. I have 2 computers set up as "masters" and they can each control the HTPC that is connected to my TV.

I'm running out of things I can do with Firefox that I can't with Chrome and this is one that is better on Chrome than FF as opposed to just being equal.

Interesting article, but I think he's trying to sell his API access a little too much.

The new program name is "Ultimate Rewards." If you can still get the $250 check for $200 then you definitely have the old program. I wouldn't call them. If you do still have the old one you wouldn't want to give them any ideas to change it.

That's the old program. Are you sure you still have it? I thought they switched everyone to the "New and Improved" (not as good) program automatically.

"Shazam's free iPhone version is limited to five song IDs, or "tags," per month"

Firefox was only slightly harder than Chrome in that I had to download the installer and run it. I didn't have to uninstall anything or do the other steps you suggest.

Instead of a weekend project....make it a whole year project.

@iamthejae001: Yeah, I do that. They aren't really linked, you are just signed into both at the same time and can switch back and forth. Having one account check the other through imap is probably most similar to what hotmail is doing but then you are checking at a set interval and it isn't instant.

@Learning to Hack Life: There is the address+extra@gmail.com that you can us, but it doesn't work everywhere. Otherwise you are stuck creating 2 separate addresses at this point. You can log in to multiple at the same time so it isn't as much of a pain as it used to be.

@Fjölnir: I agree, from the little bit I tried it, it is quite a bit easier than having to deal with 2 separate gmail addresses. Though I doubt there is much of anything they could do to get me to switch away from gmail at this point.

Web interface seems kinda plain. It also has nothing like Appbrain's version tracking, user milestone, and price change history.
