For now. The executive order talks about giving preference to Christians when/if immigration from the banned countries is reinstated, thus paving the way for future more sweeping, more openly religion specific bans. Unconstitutional, of course, but its not like that matters anymore.

Captialism or otherwise, Uber has a line to Trump directly. It would be one thing if Uber were located in a different country or something, and had no political ties. But they have political ties, and are attempting to profit off of a situation the guy they have a political connection with caused.

And yet, if the bottom line is hurt by bad publicity, suddenly some morality will be found. The default state of capitalism may be amoral but it’s far from being immovable.
