Well, he is like 40.... But I completely Agree

Agreed.

2 hours ago at work I had to explain to a co-worker that he almost raped someone... talk about awkward...

Yup yup

Ummmmm.... there is no "Student Athlete" guide to not raping people.

So, I agree with a lot of what you said. And I respectfully disagree with some of it.

No I didn't.

Agreed. That is the reason the patriarchy is around. If biologically and on the whole women were equal in men in terms of strength it wouldn't have happened.

They are cutting off a piece of someone's body without their consent.... I don't know why anyone defends that. Honestly, it's beyond me.

OH HI Whoopi! You're back with the whole "rape rape" thing.

The judge noted that a decision on the registry will be made after the sentences are completed. In Ohio juveniles who are placed on the juvenile registry can have a hearing after the sentence is completed during which their registration requirements can be terminated. Obviously, this would have to be based on many

The reason it doesn't apply is because of necessity. There are lots of people who rape when they are drunk and there are lots of people who are raped when they are drunk. I'm sorry that you have gotten such virulent responses. However, you have to understand that with an emotionally charged case such as this and every rape case is, and in this situation where it seemed like a sysiphean lift to prosecute, there will be emotional repsonses to a comment like yours. That is understandable.

First, this is a horrible situation for all involved. That doesn't preclude a proper adjudication of responsibility and consequence. Everyone has and will continue to suffer because these boys committed a terrible crime.
