I want to laugh this off as the deluded ego trip of a sentient pile of garbage, which it is, but now it seems like anything goes. What a circus his run will be.

That bad guy was actually Chiwetel Ejiofor chewing the scenery like a Rottweiler. That film was a lot of fun, from the soundtrack, the supporting cast, and just the feel of the film overall. Plus, Ben Wallace figured as minor plot point!!
I don't know Lloyd, the French are assholes.
Even though I enjoy that film for sentimental reasons, I really can't say it's something that demands to be watched.
I'm not exactly sure what's up with that, I'd be surprised Breihan would mix something like that up.
I agree that it was more influential, but more so in regards to the course it has set the Bond franchise the past decade. I always felt with its serious tone and brutal fight scenes it was taking its cue from The Bourne films, moving away from the silly dreck that was Die Another Day.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure you are. I remember P.T. Anderson saying the Wonderland murders were an inspiration for that scene.
It seems like Breihan gives more weight to how influential a film is as opposed to what is the better film, like the pick of Bad Boys or Bourne Ultimatum.
The original had Jimmy McNulty as a traitorous councilor!
"This is SPARTA!!"
Haven't seen this film, but it's on my list now! That's one of the things I love about this feature, the way it acts as a gateway to other great action films from all over the world.
He's been eatin long enough, so he should stop being greedy. Maybe give to the needy.
Teddy cracked me up a bit with those ridiculous sunglasses and forced attempts at being casual in his first meetings. I look forward to seeing him and Avi hashing out their differences next episode over that bottle of champagne.
I chalked up the miscues by Franklin to the fact that 1) he is 17/18 years old dealing with adults, which leads directly into 2) He's just been used to selling some weed to his white classmates and being a gopher for his uncle. 3) youth, arrogance and intelligence is a lethal combination in the drug trade.
He reminds me of Alfred Molinas character in Boogie Nights.
Indeed it wil, but it'll still remain, no matter how small it becomes. The key will be remaining vigilant against complacency for a long time.
I think though, that sickness has been in our country all along. Hell, I guess any society has had that sickness.
I just see it as the slow descent of Trumps administration imploding on itself, and dragging the rest of the country along with it. You can't have a presidency with chaos and incompetence and expect to accomplish much.
You don't tug on superman's cape
You don't spit into the wind
You don't pull the mask off that old lone ranger
And you don't mess around with Jim
It's truly bizarre to witness the equivocations and dissembling, and how far they're willing to set aside reality. It's a cult.
