Loved that film and the book of the same name. Looking back on it, it had a pretty good cast too, including Orlando Bloom as Blackburn. Such an intense movie though.

I wish he would have swapped Training Day into the top spot, but I respect his rationale. Still, I would've loved to get a more in depth look at Training Day. Maybe my favorite part was Roger telling his joke about "the street" and Jakes hilarious reaction to it.
He did make her let Ray go when they had him on the ropes, but that is the only one so far. Also, I believe the show is only halfway through the season, so we still have time to get more background.
We would lose Shea Whigham though! The mans a national treasure!!!!
While he is a thin character, I would point out that there are 5 episodes left I believe, and Odenkirks motivation didn't come into play until the last episode as I recall, and before that reveal the same criticisms were leveled. I'll wait to see until the season is over to pass judgment on his character.
Strange though it may sound, this reminds me of when Joe Paterno died. In the sense that after being forced from an institution they created in disgrace and shame, then shuffled off their mortal coil. I'm curious as to what would happen to the lawsuits against him? Would they sue his estate then?
For as much he is annoying as a character, I don't have an issue with him. I can totally see an incompetent ass like that getting hired as sheriff of a rural county. Same reason I didn't mind Odenkirks character in season 1.
I'll reserve my judgment until this season is over, but so far, so good. I initially thought Nikki had been beaten to death, but I'm glad that wasn't the case. Varga is one low down dirty motherfucker though. I was surprised too at how many times they said fuck in the conversation between the brothers. Thought there…
I'm enjoying this season immensely. I love the slower pace of this season, and am looking forward to how this season all comes together!
Chuck practicing his testimony was like Jerry Lundegaard going over his phrasing on the phone. It was mentioned below, but Chucks meltdown on the stand was reminiscent of Captain Queeg in The Caine Mutiny.
How the fuck do you put Tha Carter III instead of Tha Carter II? That was Wayne's stone cold Rap Album. Carter III was the beginning of the end.
Your dad should have wheeled around, shot all the hats off the offending viewers heads, and then rode away on horseback as the orchestral swells.
Pierce summed up this vote pretty succinctly: Goddamn them all.
Only drinking Cream sodas is the elixir to everlasting youth!!
You got some fucking nerve to accuse someone else of buying into propaganda you brainwashed twit.
Funny, I just read it myself about a month ago. Thompson really did have a gloriously florid way to express his hatred and loathing for someone. That passage that's been thrown around a bit of late really speaks to your point.
Touché, your response elicited a belly laugh on my part.
Naturally, a Deadwood exemption applies to cocksucker.
It's funny that the one tweet tried to draw an equivalence between O'Reilly sexually harassing coworkers and Colbert making a tasteless joke. Not in the same ballpark, not the same sport, not even the same fucking league.
"Colonel! Can you possibly imagine what is going to happen to you, your frame, outlook, way of life, and everything, when they learn that you have obstructed a telephone call to the President of the United States? Can you imagine? Shoot it off! Shoot! With a gun! That's what the bullets are for, you twit!"
