They'd damn well better not!
Who the fuck knows? 10 years down the line looks pretty bleak. It's hard to share a common purpose with people if you don't share a common reality.
This shit is just sad. The tragedy is that we'll be forever tarnished by the stain that is Trumps presidency, no matter what happens after him, he will always go down as having represented America. Excuse me, I'm going to throw up now.
Charles P. Pierce has a politics blog over on esquire, and he has a weekly update on the various shenanigans that the states are engaged in. Not comprehensive mind you, and mostly focused on Republican malfeasance, but still a good read.
Also was a song in GTA IV on the classic rock station.
Exactly, everyone knows it's him, what's the point? It's like a tic or something, an asshats tendency.
At least Howard Beale had a genuine psychotic break. Hannity is just a goddamned sniveling weasel.
Is he referring to himself as the "best Sean"? What a jackass. (I figure he probably means it like "best regards, Sean" but still fuck him.)
You know who Chuck reminds me of? George Costanzas girlfriend from The Truth. They're both haughty, both have an infuriating habit of using someones full name (always Ernesto, never Ernie) and both go absolutely nuts when called on their bullshit.
Didn't you learn anything from The Ring? Never pop in a strange videotape!
It's funny that while discussing The Matrix, the photo at the top is from Reloaded. I know I'm not the only one to point this out, but still. ( I enjoyed Reloaded myself, but am less forgiving towards Revolutions.
Fuck these people. To think, the soundtrack to the decline of America is not a dirge but a madcap calliope tune played by a deranged band of clowns.
Don't get me wrong, I love me some No Country for Old Men, but Fargo always struck me as more reassuring. Also, I would say that while the ending of all three versions of Fargo have been similar, for me at least, the differences between them have been distinct enough that I don't tire of them.
Captain Ted, Wolf of Wall Street
I'd never really thought of the show in that way, but then again I'm just happy to see the show playing around in the Coens universe. It would be interesting to see if later seasons question the triumph of the good natured and decent midwesterner, but that sounds bleak as hell. I guess that idea is what I like most…
This episode may have been a bit slow, but that's no big quibble with me. Anyway, after the last two seasons, I'm willing to give Hawley wide berth. What can I say, I'm a sucker for Upper Midwest crime shows.
This may be the wrong place to bring it up, but I always wondered how distasteful an Aaron Hernandez highlight tape set to How I Could Just Kill a Man would be. I always figured very.
YOU MAAAD, YOU MAD!!
Having to spend the rest of your miserable life with pulverized genitalia is pretty bad.
