@lululechou: yeah, my mom just told me the other day that she's so happy that i'm "all grown up" now because she said this part is way more fun than when i was wee.

@BoSox Baby: oh yeah, guys have also broken up with me because i don't want children. yup, how's that for some stereotype reversal?
not to mention - aren't there enough people in the world?? and i'm called "selfish" for *not* wanting kids??
@ronaldpagan: word - that shit is rampant in my blood: my grandmother had two brothers (two!!) who killed themselves and her mother was institutionalized. my mom has severe panic disorder and then there's the depression that pretty much everyone has...
@Threadtrend: and see that's why i don't mind telling people - i just love those horrified looks!
@Archetype: i'm an only child also. and proud to be the last stop for my own genetic material :)
i've also come to the conclusion that in the event i ever want to raise a child, i'm adopting. no question.
thank you so much for this post. i'm 26 and i've never wanted kids. i don't think babies are cute, i have zero maternal instinct towards children, and i've never desired pregnancy/childbirth in any possible way. nothing against kids, it's just not for me. and yeah, there is definitely an unexpected social reaction…
@BabyJane: someone´s probably already mentioned this, but talk about the Definition of "enabler"
@theGP: but other sources say she was literally *fused* to the thing, right?
@ElleL: i know, i just have so many questions!
@new-notebook: oh, i learned that lesson a few years ago! then again, since i was a little kid, my mom (in women´s health) would be reading different textbooks on STDs and she´d say, "hey, i wanna show you something" and then freak me out with some horrifying color picture of genital warts gone horribly wrong. yeah,…
oh christ, not this story again. i´ve tried explaining this whole thing to people who haven´t heard about it, and the response is generally, "Milo, i think you read that article wrong" even i can´t really wrap my brain around it. fused?? to a toilet seat??
i had to work with Bill Cosby once, and uh - some call him dedicated to his work, but he´s kindof a jerk..
my hair looks exactly like that every day, except longer. rock that cavegirl look! i think it´s kinda sexy, actually, in a i-don´t-give-a-shit way
she has great knees.
regardless of how i think about Ali Lohan's career, i like that she's not in a dress. i'm kinda bored with the whole "let's be feminine and glamorous on the red carpet" thing.
@token_y_chromosome: no need to defend dorky redheaded men! i've never met one i didn't like :)
i once read about this couple in california who asked Tivo to be their wedding sponsor. the cake was a big Tivo character. and everyone got little stuffed Tivo characters as favors.
i'm straight, but sometimes i wonder if it's because i just haven't met the right girl. lemme just say that since seeing her in Lost, michelle may be that girl. and she looks great in this pic. i would totally carry those bags for you, ms. rodriguez.
