It’s fun in it’s ridiculousness, but it’s not a good game.

It’s a little greyer of an area in the newer games, because breeding a perfect Pokémon is actually quite doable. In most cases, I can get a child with the exact IVs, Nature, and Ability I want after about an hour of breeding. I only cheat when I play with friends because I remember the good ol’ days of cheat codes (i’ll throw modded multiplayer on dedicated servers on pc) and the mayhem caused by them. Tons of fun.
