They should’ve left him dead after the original doomsday story, that way we’d all have been spared all of the awful that has come since. The most interesting story about that character is his funeral.

Still barely interesting cause Superman, the most boring, milquetoast character in comic books. How good is a character if you have to kill them off to write an interesting story? Or as they’ve done lately, fundamentally breaking the character by making him angry, stripping his power and outing his identity. When

I... But... That’s... There’s no words to describe the absolute perfect nature of that picture.

Maybe someone makes it into late phase 4 or 5 but no, not happening by IW1&2.

Plus why would anyone on the movie side want to be connected to the shield narrative other than to borrow their unlimited source of handwavium?

You’re absolutely right, the only one that would make sense to me is a Netflix crossover, the quality is higher than that of the ABC output and would gel better. That’s Feige diplomatically saying he hates Perlmutter and refuses to work with him unless Iger tells him to.

Pretty much, being a comic reader makes this all easier. I never read a Cap book and thought “gee, where’s Iron Man or DD or Spidey to help out”, it’s the way comics work(well at least till the crossover boom started in the 90s). Like how hard is it for the general audience to understand and accept that heroes have
