Yeah honestly if I had a favorite drug, it would probably be Ambien. But have to stay away! I did the same thing, hoarded it for when I really really needed it and it was just comforting to know it was there, just in case. I could make a bottle of 30 last a year too.  Don’t have any now and scared to go down that road

Microwaving a metal bowl is the only way to get blue sparks outside of Mario Kart

Or! We can ask our government to fund the arts and the institutions that host them so that they don’t have to go bowing and scraping for donations. We can invest in early art education, engaging our kids in the arts and sending them to a museum or play multiple times a year. The government can do more to sponsor and

Same here! I loved him as a youngun and he turned out about as well as my major childhood crush (a community college dropout whose facebook photos are all of him with various women in bikinis/drinking at house parties) who I asked out and got rejected by twice.

Almond-quinoa??? Haven’t seen that one yet. I can attest to the marzipan, but I’m generally partial to marzipan. I also bought a dark chocolate almond-orange the other day that was pretty good.

When I was 16, I read Wuthering Heights and fell in love with Heathcliff. Then I reread it when I was 35, and I had no idea how fucked up my attraction to him was. He killed puppies! He stalked Catherine.

Aaron Carter represents a truth about my life, on a large scale.

For years I was anti-microwave popcorn. Wanted to make popcorn on the stove, primarily using oils. I recently wanted popcorn. I used a grocery delivery service and asked for popcorn and wrote a note about kernels & do not buy microwave popcorn.

After all of the moodiness (not that the moodiness or anxiety disappears; of course not) come the physical changes. I wrote a list but deleted it — it is too depressing. Oh, it’s a bitch, all right. And it doesn’t seem all that gradual.

When I suffered a brain injury, I thought that was the worst I would ever have to experience. Perimenopause and menopause were a very close second. Your description is spot-on! ♡

I have never tried Ritter Sport chocolate. Is it any good, or is this the new ‘Chobani yogurt sucks, Fage yogurt good’ sort of article that Hamilton Nolan would write for Gawker?

Hot baths are saving me.  And, this may sound bonkers, but sweeping the floor always makes me feel like there is at least one thing right in the world :)

Excellent tip about the brand-name vs generic Wellbutrin. I did have Trazodone prescribed at one point for back pain, and like you, I did not feel it at all. Nada. No help with pain relief, sleep, anything. Melatonin is hit or miss for me, and CBD/THC—I just can’t go there. The tiniest presence of THC pushes my brain

When I’m a hammer, everything is a nail -- but are you perimenopausal or menopausal?

Oh man, I know exactly what you mean. I am currently on Wellbutrin (going on one year) and it’s good in some ways and others maybe doesn’t make a difference. But also everyone is different—this is just my experience, so here goes:

I have had good luck with a Paxil in the morning (40mg), and a Trazadone at night (50mg). The Paxil evens me out in the day, and then the Trazadone helps with the racing thoughts at night so I get to sleep (caution:. Trazadone dreams are a thing, and they are fucking weird and scary sometimes, but I live with it

Hey internet friends. I can’t wait for SNS so I’m going to post this here, been refreshing nonstop to see when DirtBag was gonna run so thanks to Justice and apologies for the hijack. I have an appt with my doctor to talk about anti-anxiety medication and need advice. Basically I am just anxious all the time: wake

James Cameron is here to delay Avatar sequels and produce terminator movies, and he’s all outta terminator movies.

Semi-serious question; are you a masochist and did you post this so people would scream at you. Because that - that is disgusting.
