Break it down, too - it’s real nice. At first glance, you see the circle and the coloring is mostly the same, so you don’t think it’s a different brand.

That butterfly really brings back my childhood watching Mr. Dressup. They did, and might still, sell a metal pin of the 1940s one. I think I bought it for my best friend. I can’t find them anymore, though.

And for the people in the back, a mask will not only catch many particles (reducing the number of them) but also the distance from you they might spread because it reduces the force of the breath carrying them.

That totally makes sense! I appreciate the detailed explanation. So, it seems like linen would still be a less than ideal mask material given how it is constructed though, yeah? Others mention it maybe having multiple layers or a liner, which would definitely help.

^-graphic designer here. I did the same thing, and you’re right. This is one of those times that a rebrand/new look was actually really well done. I don’t really have any complaints about the new design. 

My favorite stupid logo change story was the time the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Company) paid something like half a million for a new logo and were told to keep their old one.

Now I understand. "Well you can’t expect to wield supreme executive power just ‘cause some watery tart threw a sword at you!" So bad flour leads to watery tart leads to elevation to power symbolized by a very fancy cutting implement. 

That scene is all I can think of when watching Cursed.

Yeah this seems to have been an ongoing project, and it’s been pretty good so far. Adding protein contents to all the bags, clearer descriptions of what the flours are for, sourcing and what have all came months ago.

As a fan of Information Design, I love the new look.

I suppose it is a sign of the times that my first thought was that someone had complained the guy on the horse was a culturally insensitive stereotype of English royalty in the middle ages.

Their website is absolutely top notch. The recipes are solid and well tested, they come with measurements by volume and weight, and if there are associated blog posts they are informative and well researched, rather than obsequious and chatty or clinical and patronizing.

I have a combo air fryer and toaster oven, in other words it has a toaster setting where it’s just ambient heat from the upper and lower heating elements but you also have the high-heat convection setting for air frying. Love that damn thing.
