Counterpoint:

Well, it’s not cheerful, twee or whimsical but I did make this GIF of my own yesterday.

On this episode of X-Files Mulder and Scully investigate a year long bout of insanity at a small town community college, locally referred to as the “gas leak year” that may be linked to a crazy asian man, secret military rations and strange berries found growing on a local mountain.

I still like the idea that Grant Ward from Agents of SHIELD is slowly becoming Taskmaster.

1-1 odds that the villian is people tired of new Spidermans.

I can’t believe you forgot farts.

Whoo hoo! I’m going full Reaver then.

“I suspect Star Trek is more likely than Mad Max. We have never yet failed to become richer; as a species, our lives have always gotten better.”

We have to keep digging! Since Leinart’s involved, odds are the story’s still incomplete.

Even after all he’s done for them, they still won’t let him play quarterback.

It’s more of a “why bother reviewing a film you know you’re going to hate because you just don’t like the person who created it,” but yeah, you’re spot-on.

Will this ever get old? I say no.

Not even close.

Great piece but I’ve got an aside:

The statue of Francis Marion is there because he was a hero of the American Revolution against the British. He’s a South Carolinian who kept the British from pushing forward from the captured city of Charleston north to Virginia where they would have attacked George Washington from

I don’t know about Charleston. I’ve visited there many times and everybody was exceedingly nice to me(I’m black). I even hit on a girl(white), her boyfriend walked up and said that’s my girlfriend, I apologized and he brought me a drink. I understand there’s plenty of racism in SC but I have literally never had less

It shouldn’t be on federal/state land though, sorry. Have it at home.

Or maybe the Confederate Flag symbolizes something to some people that doesn’t include racism or hatred. Just the love of the south.

At the dedication ceremony, Allen Iverson will walk across Tyronn Lue.

Most “origin stories” are total bullshit. Except for a handful of heroes, we don’t need to know everybody’s origins. Those kinds of narratives almost always detract from the characters’ mystique and personality.

A steaming pile of words. Apart from that, I have no idea.
