Genuine question. Do they hold the value just because it's a small market? The truck you describe sounds like something people would only sell through bankruptcy or death.

Neutral, the real question should be will plug in hybrids attract new customers?

It allows you to ID a car quickly and easily from the front which has many benefits. Helps with reporting crime and finding stolen cars.

You hit the nail on the head. They are valuable longer so get better maintenance and are kept on the road longer.

I love a convertible but wings on convertibles all to often look like pram handles. I think this would look better without.

MG limited the MG6 (I think to 120mph) and claimed it was to reduce car insurance premiums. Since I read that years ago I’ve wondered why other car makers don’t do the same if it really would reduce car insurance.

There’s probably a much tighter margin on the model 3 and remember tesla is cutting out the middle man so in theory the 35k isn’t like for like to the bolt and leaf.

They should make the nose black

To me Teslas no hassle return option in lieu of test drives sounds like a way to block comparisons to other cars.

I miss my 205. Had a 1.6 3 door in carbs. Made something between 70 and 90hp I think and was the best handling car I’ve ever owned. Better than my mx5.

‘Only 165hp' that was space ship numbers for a 90s C segment hatch. How things have changed. Could probably get a 208 diesel with that sort of power now.

How does the Macan compare to the average car on fuel consumption?

I love these but I think it's about 2k overpriced. It's probably worth 4.5k but I don't think you could sell it for that much and I think if you use it as a normal car you'd quickly see it turn into a 2k car.

That’s a Citroen C3 WRC not a DS WRC.

For me this its one that’s definitely NP but you’d be a fool to buy it. I say this because at that price you should either renovate it or go all out knowing it will die very soon but it's likely buyer will be someone who tries to daily it without renovation and that path leads to misery.

The Austin maxi is still in production but they prefer you call it a MINI countryman

And so many other issues like the driver having huge blind spots. Even worse when you live in a country where a large proportion of them are sitting on the wrong side of the cab.

Are there any non-luxury EU built cars available on the US market? The only things I can think of are Mini and the Fiat 500 but they are arguably special interest rather than budget.

TBF these days the difference between a cross over and a hatchback/wagon/mpv is purely marketing.

This month's top gear magazine (UK edition) shows it mounted so the bottom of the plate is just above the parking sensors around the centre grille.
