I agree she had a plan, but getting stabbed on the bridge was the cheapest way to advance the story and so out of character for Arya. She went unarmed and flashed a ton of coin in a very public setting to draw the Waif out. That she was caught so completely unaware was ridiculous and unbelievable.
I like the Cersei wildfire thing for one reason: Jamie killed the Mad King to prevent Aerys from burning the entire city to the ground. So does he now have to kill his sister to stop the same act? I've always thought that Jamie could be the only one who killed Cersei.
