I agree
You are so right. We don’t have the infrastructure to go all electric. I live in an apartment so where can I charge my Tesla? Hybrids make soooo much more sense for this point in time. Even if you have a very small gas motor as a backup generator for your batteries. The battery tech will grow exponentially this…
I recently worked for a company that unloaded rail cars full of new cars and trucks. Most were trucks. A 1500 Dodge Ram is pretty damn big now. The 2500 is huge! Then we had to unload 3500 dualies and 4500/5500 chassis with no bed. There is literally 3 inches of clearance from the rear wheels to the walls, and…
Mclaren SLR. Not really that it was really scary but its got a massively long hood, the brakes are EXTREMELY touchy, and it wasn’t my car (ex gf’s) so any damage would be end of the relationship.
Because the Renveton was way too rare and expensive to use in a movie.
If you cannot pay attention and use your brakes, change lanes safely, etc, you should not be allowed to drive. I have alway thought driving tests should include evasive driving. Like hard braking, slalom.
Im totally with you man. Its cool, but you can get something way cooler for the price. Like a used 458 Italia. I want to hear my supercar.
I bought one brand new in 2002 with an auto. Loved it. Went through three transmissions. Finally had to put her down after the last one broke. Was worth less than a new transmission.
Took a minute to grasp it
I am totally with you. In my opinion most cars look better with a hardtop.
I have an Altima 2018 and the cvt does suck. I get crappy mpg in town because it revs to 5000rpms before shifting often. And I am not a hooligan. Highway mpg is great. The dealer told me that it doesnt shift and I corrected him. Often I have to back off the throttle and back on to get an upshift.
I had a friend with an SLR and it was a beast. And it can only be truly appreciated in person. The car is SO wide and the hood is SO long. Also, its a very comfortable car to drive. Except for the brakes. The slightest touch is like pulling the E-brake.
Thank you for this. A drift car goes sideways. MUCH slower than many cars...
I live in Chandler AZ and those Waymo vans are everywhere. About two weeks ago I was in the exit lane for the freeway and a Waymo van was just to my left. The van started turning into me and I layed on the horn. The human driver almost crashed to avoid hitting me. They had to miss the on ramp. Autonomous vehicles…
It shouldn’t matter what race, religion, gay/straight, etc. Why are you all so hateful. I don’t believe in any religion and I don’t have hate because of that. Whether or not you like the president or Rupert Murdoch, that is what we have for the current situation. Whether you like it or not.
I am far from being a saint. But reading these discussions is ridiculous. Just relax and take a few steps back everyone! Enjoy your weekend and get a good nights rest. Don’t stress about someone that disagrees with you because that is a fantasy.
I honestly have no “Party” because I cross the lines. I believe in fiscal responsibility and I really don’t care if two guys get married. The whole system is flawed. Every candidate should run independent and let the people choose. Not based on political parties.
One of those Lexani converted sprinter vans. Where its almost like a tiny luxury apartment.
2007 I was living in Santa Monica, CA and the my now ex girlfriend bought a Mclaren SLR with her ex husbands money. I was a doorman at the W hotel so I had experience driving exotics, but not for more than two blocks. The SLR was so hard to get used to with its super touchy brakes and 15ft long hood. I was used to…
