27" seems to be the large end of computer monitors for most setups. Truly, a tv of that size would just be weird as hell unless you’re in an RV or something weird.
no, for changing the bounds of your argument - going from 3 sentences to pontificate about how clearly there will never be a $25k truck. Okay they exist, but rarely exist, like they’re some kind of unicorn and not used by contractors all over the country.
nothing about this could backfire.
nice pivot
don’t challenge gm’s designers like this
the cybertruck isn’t really “huge;” it’s inline with the f150 that it was benchmarked against (if you’re saying the cybertruck is huge just because it’s the size of a truck... idk what to say). I hadn’t heard that gm released what the new hummer is supposed to be benchmarked against. in the past, hummers haven’t been…
that is the definition of a free loan
It’s stayed flat, but it could stand to be cheaper. Certainly isn’t gouging, though.
imagine kids not being spoiled if they grew up in cars with 27" screens 4" from their faces. Like, I really hope this is a VIP-only kind of ridiculous feature.
I’d love that carmakers keep that attitude - that everything needs to be operated quickly and conveniently without voice operation. I just worry that a focus on voice operation will come at a cost to usability without it. The controls on this did look pretty slick, though
the comparison to the f150 is specifically just stating that $31k (okay, 23k with patience for tax season) is a lot of money that’s hard to spend on a new, minimal-range EV, regardless of what you compare it to. Especially if you’re buying it as a second vehicle to only be used as a short-range commuter
that was a weird flipflop. I just wouldn’t want to buy a vehicle that is only used for traveling bicycle distances, and having to rely on a different car otherwise. Besides, gasoline is for hobbies, not every out-of-town errand
The math has already been done without requiring guesswork:
well, I can just decrease withholding anytime I want a free loan, but at least there’s options I guess
I don’t love the direction with making everything voice-activated, and having 27" tv screens in a car, but they are pretty cool looking cars. And I like that they’re going for futuristic-looking cars, without making it look like a warthog
It’s a brand new platform and with EV range perception issues. For all we know, it could be the size of a 4-door canyon. It could be 3 or 4 lanes. It could be the size of a yukon. It could be the size of a wrangler unlimited. as long as it’s boxy, they’ll keep the hummer heritage.
my bad. I couldn’t figure it out
as soon as I saw 1,000 hp, I knew it was going to be dumb expensive. I’d bet it will exceed the yukon denali by quite a bit
...we haven’t even seen this platform yet, you have no idea how big the thing will be
