As much as I prefer political candidates who Wall St. is not happy with, I’m also aware that the Democratic Party needs money to function. I don’t see how to expect Democrats to win elections if they are completely dedicated to rejecting the financial contributions of the 1%. There’s some happy balance here between

I’m writing alright for a newborn.

I don’t want a Democratic presidential nominee who takes money from Wall Street, period.

I am unsure on the legality of fighting the POTUS. Would the Secret Service step in? They might step in.

The GOP is going to do the same old shit, and no one should give them any attention for it.

The less that Americans know about what is done in America’s name, the more peacefully we will sleep at night.

I would never accuse the Huffington Post of being actually good at journalism. Sometimes they happen to be, seemingly on accident, but most of the time they are not. This is an example of them being bad at it.

Since the author of the original tweet went on to explain that she was “joking” I am no longer even sure what her actual point was. Something about someone not speaking the language she thought they should speak.

I’m sure that all three of the adult Clintons have opinions on who should be the next POTUS. I hope that they feel open to share their opinions. But I also hope that they realize that (unless one of the two eligible ones runs for the office) their opinions are not something that the Democratic Party will just agree

Thanks. I was in a rush to write that comment and I’ll admit it wasn’t my best. I’ll try to construct worse strawmen in the future.

Someone made the same (or a very similar) take on Twitter and they didn’t even get paid for it lol
