Joe reminded me of John Krasinski

Ballast Point opened a brewpub in Long Beach this past summer. Rumor has it they are gonna experiment with brewing sours there. So that's exciting.

Get out of here, Dewey. You don't want no part of this shit. We doin pills. Uppers and downers. It's the logical next step for you.

I caught him on the Nerdist podcast, and lost it listening to him just riff on a David Lee Roth impression.

Wasn't his brother's name George? Some double Judge Judy naming hijinks.

Aha. I kept wondering what "Retoon" meant.

It's Clobberin' Time!

Homer: "Aw, twenty dollars? I wanted a peanut!"
Homer's Brain: "Twenty dollars can buy many peanuts."
Homer: "Explain how."
Homer's Brain: "Money can be exchanged for goods and services."

30 for 30 Straight outta LA sheds some light on the myth of LA not being a football town. Raiders and Rams both essentially pulled a Major League and sabotaged their respective teams to leverage stadium deals elsewhere. Raiders came close to staying, but Davis balked at LA's proposed shared stadium deal, and he

As the rare Chargers fan in LA, this news is vexing. Spanos has constantly threatened to leave San Diego so I shouldn't be too surprised, but to see it actually happen is still devastating. I should be thrilled that my team has followed me to LA, yet oddly this is not reassuring at all.

In a movie I otherwise loved, that awful pun was too bad to forgive.

It's slowly creeping outward, but hearing "hella" anywhere outside of the bay area sounds weird to me.

Abraham would be proud.

James Hong made it worth it to me.

I thought it odd that SNL would send Mikey Day back to the Karate Kid well, when his movie, Totally Awesome , was built around that premise. (Chris Kattan's Dirty Dancing b-story not withstanding).

I know it's been a decade since he's been on the national stage, but Chappelle sounded like a different person. I saw him do stand up a few years ago, and he didn't sound as rough even then. Is it fatigue, world weariness, or (gasp!) cigarettes? Or just the slow but relentless ravages of time?

Also notable, the chapel is there too. Basically the whole flashback scene of Teddy shooting up the town with Wyatt .

Any fans of MBMBAM should check out their D&D podcast, The Adventure Zone. Long live Barry Blue Jeans.
